Troop 219 names three Eagle Scouts, mourns death of leader, Eagle's dad

• "Having earned the rank of Life Scout, but not completing the Eagle Scout requirements, Jon Fournier strongly encouraged each Scout to achieve the Eagle rank. He regretted not doing it himself and therefore was a strong motivating force to the Scouts in the troop. He served as a merit badge counselwhen presented with the parent and mentor pins at the recent Eagle Court of Honor. He truly looked forward to helping the next Scout advance. Shortly after celebrating his son Eli's accomplishment, Jon Fournier passed away unexpectedly. He will be remembered by the many Scouts whose lives he touched.
